      Everything’s moving too fast for me and I

(I know you can’t pick up the phone right now but)

         can’t seem to keep up, I just really called to

(I really need somebody right now and you’ve)

  Ask you what’s kept you so busy, like 

(always been the one I relied on the most even though)

                   It’s been months, man, so, you wanna come over

(you’ve never had the decency to see me)

for dinner sometime?

(when you said you would).
