Peach is an online art forum, publication, podcast, and film platform for artists of all mediums. It is ran by young adults and targeted towards today's generation. Maddy Hart created Peach to be a forum for people to share ideas and art work.

Peach is committed to remaining a safe space for all artists, regardless of race, gender, or sexuality.
 
Peach is about acceptance, authenticity, and claiming your own space in the universe. We are a forum for the thoughts, artwork, and words of young artists.

We are open to submissions from you! We are interested in featuring your artwork, poetry, articles, music, film, photography, and podcasts. We are primarily focused on featuring the artwork of teenagers 13 - 20 ( however, we are also interested in works from all ages!) of ALL genders and identities. If you would like to submit your work, please email the peach team at peachartforum@gmail.com

We are interested in your art, poetry, photography, film, and words!

Peach is open to regular submissions all year round from artists of all forms. We have submission prompts every month to inspire you, and to share people's different viewpoints. We are currently accepting submissions for our Closure submission prompt, as well as regular submissions. All Closure themed submissions must be within the theme of closure and new beginnings.

For submissions for our Closure submission prompt, please send your work to peachartforum@gmail.com 
Please keep your work within theme, and please specify that it is for the Closure prompt. Please include your full name and anything you would like to include in the post. You could also include your social media accounts, website, or links to your online portfolio if you would like us to promote your social media and let readers know where to find you online. Also please make sure your work adheres to the submission guidelines (see below.)
The deadline for the Closure prompt is December first. If you miss the deadline, you can submit work for our next prompt which we will be advertising come December, or you could submit your work under no theme.

To submit work in general, please email your work to  peachartforum@gmail.com and specify that your work is not for any advertised prompt. Please include your full name, anything you would like to include with your work, and any socials you may have that you would like us to link. Also make sure your work adheres to the submission guidelines.

Submission guidlines:

- You can submit 1-15 poems at a time.
- Please attach a short cover letter.

| prose |

- We accept short stories of up to 15 pages.
- Attach a short cover letter with a synopsis of your chosen work.

| art |

- We have no guidelines for art forms.

| film |

- We are interested in films about social issues or your personal life experiences
- We are also interested in personal music videos for original music

- No vlogging, no makeup tutorials (unless you were approached to do so) and otherwise no "YouTuber" content (challenges, lookbooks, etc.)
- Videos must be 20 minutes maximum
- Please do not send any videos that have already been on large platforms like YouTube, unless we've directly approached you about a specific film


We do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia or other hate speech. Please be respectful of our admins and our readers. We are committed to keeping Peach a safe space for artists of all mediums so we will not post your work if it includes anything stated above. We also use trigger warnings on sensitive subjects to keep you safe and give you the freedom to choose what you read.

Ella Jade is an amateur photographer and poet who finds comfort in writing and who loves to collect her favorite moments by taking photos. She has a very artistic minimalist style and her photography evokes warm feelings. She enjoys travel and music. Instagram: @elluhj

Stephane Mohr

Editor

Stephane Mohr is a twenty-year old, Maryland-based poet who has been writing since she was eleven years old. She graduated high school from Barbara Ingram School for the Arts after spending three years in its Creative Writing program, where her love for poetry was reignited. When she is not writing, she is working on her Animal Science and English degrees, making her way through a long list of “to-read” novels and poetry collections, and advocating for the lives of bees. Rosa Martinez

Rosa Martinez has been interested in photography for many years. She is heavily inspired by nature and feels very at peace surrounded by it. She is also very outspoken and passionate about current events and political issues and helping people in the world. She enjoys alternative music and reading.

Peach is looking for a columnist (Articles will include topics such as intersectional feminism and LGBTQ+ issues as well.) If you are interested in journalism and would like to write for us, please email a cover letter to peachartforum@gmail.com

Requirements:

- Must have minor experience in journalistic style writing

- Must be educated on topics of intersectional feminism and political issues

- Must be a team player 

- Must be willing to discuss and try out new ideas

- Must be able to work with deadlines
